Sapura Nokia Software is a Research and Development joint venture company, incorporated on
17th December 1997, between Nokia Oyj, Finland and Sapura Holdings Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and was
awarded the MSC Status by the Malaysian Government in 1998. SNS was the sole R&D center for
Nokia in the Southeast Asia region. We developed software modules for the Nokia DX200 family of
digital switches including, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) switching, mobile and broadband
solutions.

SNS pioneer engineers were trained at Nokia Finland, acquiring the expertise needed to realize
Nokia's best practices in software process methodology and technology management. Armed with
Nokia's technical know-how and Sapura's support, SNS produced software modules that are integrated
in Nokia Finland and exported to the global markets. We serviced various Nokia R&D sites around
the world.

SNS is also a VIP status Nokia Forum developer partner of mobile phone specific applications.
