Langkawi, Monday, 3 Dec 2007 – Leading technology provider, Sapura, is all set to entice visitors of the LIMA 2007 Exhibition by showcasing its suite of integrated secured communications solutions developed in Malaysia.

Sapura will be demonstrating its ability to integrate between various types of secured communications networks. The centrepiece of the demonstration is the integration between the TETRA Digital Trunk Radio Network, which is used by enforcement, security and emergency agencies, with various types of military communications networks.

Sapura Group President & CEO, Datuk Shahril Shamsuddin said, “The Group is pleased to showcase at a premier exhibition such as LIMA our secured integration capabilities as this is key to enabling our customer to leverage their new and legacy assets. Our engineers have built the bridges that link multiple secured communications networks that previously could not inter-operate. Visitors to the Sapura Booth will also have the opportunity to see a Networked Lead-In Jet Fighter Simulator in action. This networked simulator is another of Sapura’s proprietary technology and it is the first such simulator to be developed indigenously in this region. The networked simulator will allow multiple fighter pilots to train together in an interactive and realistic virtual environment thus delivering a “train as you fight” experience.
